Ahmedabad traing days ......................... A blast from the past
Well at times we (or at least I do) wonder why do we have a power cut when we get to the best part of the movie, any ways keeping my own exclusive self proclaimed ramblings apart here are series of events (both eventful and uneventful, of course) I have been up to lately
My day (the weekends) are jumpstarted around 8 in the morning with the sahayaks trying hard to wake me up (I just love to sleep these days) and what follows is a bath and getting ready followed by a nutritious breakfast of milk and cornflakes along with 4 slices of bread (with butter or jam, though I generally prefer butter), I have a DR (an army dispatch rider) waiting to escort me to the Sakar-2 building (err…. my present office) at 9, my mode of transportation is an Enfield (standard black model) on which I ride as the pillion, pity I cant drive army vehicles(sigh! Guess it does pay to be an Army man, guess all those ads being showed by the media are not a farce). I reach the T.C.S. A’ bad (read as Ahmedabad) reception somewhere around 9:15 and mark up my attendance in the trainee register (I am the only trainee in the morning shift 7 am – 3 pm, so much for being punctual ;-)) Well after two coffee breaks and one lunch break and of course some classified typing, it is time for me to wind up things, after a series of hand shakes I find my self on the ground floor at the main exit.
The aforesaid events are followed by a brisk walk session (around 2-3 kilometers) till the Lal Darwaza bus stand and from here I board the bus (route 102 or105) subject to their availability, this journey costs me a ‘fair enough’ (This phrase has been added to my vocabulary courtesy Mr. Anuj Bhardwaj, thank you) Rs.6/-, well another half a kilometer of brisk walk brings me home (home is where the heart lives i.e. House No. 36, Phase-IX, Mohali Punjab India 160059.)
“Hi honey I am home”
And then I realize “Hey, I aint married yet”(A PJ indeed ;-)), what follows next is slumber, I wake up yawning around
Well this is the story at my end.
Peace
Jeet
