Hello after a long time ........

Date: 4th October 2007

Place: Baghban, Nawan Nagar, Dist. Panchkula, Harayana.

Greetings blog,

I know we are having a tetete after a real long time, but it is always nice to start from where we had left once, sooner or later some time.

So here is Yours Truly sitting all by himself at the restaurant, waiting for ‘The Baghban’ esteemed customers to show up for lunch and make me rich …Hahahahahahahaha or on second thoughts. …Hoooooohahahahahahaha the traditional ‘EVIL – LAUGH ’.

Of late, I have, discovered two alternate routes to the restaurant from home, not only these routes shorten the journey but also save me from the wrath of Pinjore Traffic Jam but since every thing has pros and cons, the main hassle faced by me is, the path (read as the ‘road’ followed by me, where the aforesaid is totally or partially non existent at places) to be followed is yet to be constructed and for the major part of the travel, I have to drive through a dry river bed (sounds adventurous, doesn’t it ??, trust me it is, for further details keep reading…patience pays …hmmmmm) the concept of street lightening is totally non existent through out the so called short cut and if you are lucky enough, you may get to see an Indian mongoose, cobra, krait or even a wild boar and enough storks as you drive along the corn and ‘charri’(read fodder) crops and cross through the seasonal chows of water for the destination proclaimed as ‘home sweet home’. Well all this does actually make you feel at home in nature’s lap and you thank the almighty God for the abundant beauty bestowed upon us and just then one look at your car tyres, turns the table, the path takes its toll on the car and that’s the catch. L Both my cars need new tyres…. is some one listening.

At the moment I am in my office (read as the 25X30sq feet, 50 seater restaurant hall extendable to 1 acre lawns included...lolz) the sales are low big time …WHY ??? I know not. They say this is the lean period let’s hope it gets over soon. The positive thing is that now I can get the staff do other jobs such as the lawn maintenance, setting up of solar lights (we are the first in the industry to come up with the concept if solar (en) lightening.), cleaning jobs along with pending repairs, etc etc …blah blah. The food at the restaurant is not bad at all, especially the Kadhai Paneer along with Butter Naan and Dal Makhni combo meal tastes nothing less than mana dew. We have our own kitchen garden where we grow Radish, Spinach, Mustard, Onions, Garlic, Potatoes, Green chillies and enough of other leafy grub.

Everything may seem to be in place but there are miles to go before I sleep.

Peace

Inderjeet
