Greetings Mr. Michael Dell
Well, weird as the title might sound or on a further correction out of the blue, may seem more apt a phrase for the aforesaid. I am officially a Dell employee now. The badge numbers yet to be given , so i take the liberty of writing this post as the coming days would be hectic and exhausting, source: existing dell employees.
The batch is strange and naive, it seems at times is running low(I correct myself very low) on IQ or at least that's what the HR team there is thinks since the HR guys are making them believe that all the new guys are like cows whose exclusive job is to chew cud (read not apply brains). Two days since the induction has begun the only ting we have been iteratively told a zillion times that we should feel lucky to get in a reputed company like Dell, we have archived the GOAL of our life, blah blah... In short the brain washing has already begun.
Guess the strong feelings are coming from the track Lake of Fire: Meat Puppets being played in the back ground as I type. And by the way Abel Masih, a fellow team mate and member of a band called The 21st Century Rebell Street does sing quite well , I wonder why his mum doesn't not acknowledge the verified fact . I leave Mrs. Masih with the old saying "To each his (in this case her) own." Talking further about Abel he should be pursuing a MBA, he reminds me of what I was till last year carefree , confident, waiting for the right job and all relevant documents.
Just got reminded of what I read once: Taking calls is not my call : A night at the call center. :Vroom hehehe
Strange as this may seem , but I just realized while typing in that I am a part of a call center the very job I have always despised all my life, thanks to Chetan Bhagat. The journey from TCS Ahmedabad as a Trainee to Dell Mohali as a Technical Support Associate has been quite a challenging one.
The HR Deepa Dadwal is just out of the world, looks more like Celina Jaitley but is only a bit short but is one helluva woman. Deepa you have very nice hair.
Just realized I have too much Dell running in my blood at the moment guess I need a break.
Peace
Jeet
