Another day at office ...

I reached the office late ... almost by 6 minutes the manager had been already been informed but still the great RW had an objection, even though he was well enlightened in advance on the phone, I wonder why does he think I suffer from memory losses when he cant even remember what I had told him less than 20 mins ago ... strange.

The shift at the office started with Jagdeep Singh (TSS)- Grade B2 , sending me twice back to the bay to check some thing he never bothered to verify with me later... Just for his information he stands corrected there was no option for FRU/CRU on the web page. I guess his personal life and the upcoming tests he would be apperaing for are taking their toll on him.

Working with older men and talkative women can get monotonous and way too frustrating- Just a thought.

Checked for the third time Kronos is still not opened... It sucks at times.

Manju Chandel tooks fatabalous while working out in the gym ... I wish I could say the same about her otherwise.

I feel the work at Dell is just OK... I dont find it some thing Mega cool. it gets way too boring at times.
I have not been feeling well, nobody takes me seriously when I tell them the aforesaid. I hope everything is fine.

Bye for now bored of typing.

Dell ..where Winning with Integrity is just another farce.

I have no hard feelings towards Mr. Badge Id. no. 1,Mr. Michael Dell. I am thankful to him for providing jobs and livelyhood to thousand of its employees all over the world, it is a fact I thoroughly appreciate, since in the times of recession, everyone has been hit hard, Dell is the only company still hiring (atleast in India, sorry about what happened in Canada though). But you know what they say, "History repeats itself" and there are always some black moles in every sphere of the society who make a life fight for survival, guess strange are the ways of life, and that's the way they always have been.

At Dell we are supposed to follow a set of rules which every one is bound and expected to obey , in other words The COC- Code of Conduct, but I am sorry to say that it is balantly flaunted here , why?, a reason I am not aware of yet.

I am not pissed of with what I have seen since the few months I have been the part of the organization but I surely did expect something good out of this work place. The people higher in the hierchy have a blast and keep pushing the tiers below them ans if you try picturing this visually just imagine the food chain picture which we once read in during our school days -

Eagle-->Snake-->Field Mouse-->Grains-->Nitrogen

VP--> Site Director-->Area manager-->Team Manager-->TSS-->Agent
(WOW! This looks so familiar. )

I am smiling as I sit and type in my office read seat no.L-169 on the Third floor,And I tell my self it is not really that bad after all, guess it is still much better and sane than playing criket in the bay and making a fool out of your self ... and by the way .. did I tell you I have alot of free time today thanks to some unethical practices going on the floor ... Hush hush topic ... this would be Dell centric information ...lolz

Some how all my feeling of being in college have been refreshed thanks to the ever wonderful team and great superiors ... for further details check the entry on Night in the Rajdhani.

And as I type the concluding lines the fact gets verified... History does repeat it self.

Peace

Inder
